VOICES OF PEACE

Voices of Peace is a charitable project created in 2022 by Noize MC, Monetochka, and Vitya Isaev. The project was initiated in response to the war in Ukraine with the aim of supporting affected civilians.

The musicians organized a series of charity concerts, with proceeds directed towards medical, humanitarian, and human rights assistance for Ukrainian refugees, in collaboration with the Polish foundation Siepomaga. The project has raised over 420,000 euros.

In addition to concert activities, Voices of Peace also releases musical works. The group’s first single, “Cryo Chambers,” was released on September 21, 2022, on International Day of Peace. This song is available for free through Telegram and is accompanied by a music video edited from a Soviet cartoon based on a story by Ray Bradbury.

On February 1, 2023, Voices of Peace released an anti-war music video for the song “No One Was Hurt,” created in collaboration with Mr. Freeman. The video, which features graphics generated by artificial intelligence, addresses themes of propaganda, violence, and human loss. The lyrics of the song convey the absurdity of normalizing war and highlight the silencing of the conflict’s consequences. In this work, the musicians switched roles: Monetochka performs rap verses written by Noize MC, and vice versa.

The project has become an important symbol of resistance to war and a call for unity. The musicians emphasize the need not only to publicly express disagreement with the war but also to provide real assistance to those whose lives have been shattered by the conflict.

In December 2024, Voices of Peace was nominated for the Nobel Peace Prize for their outstanding contribution to the struggle for peace and humanitarian support. The nomination underscores the importance of their efforts in raising awareness of issues caused by military actions and mobilizing the international community to assist those in need.
